Week of 1/29/18 - 2/2/18

Happy Friday! We'll be starting a 5 week session of Junior Achievement on Wednesday.  Mr. Dan Blocker will be coming in to teach our third graders.  He is an awesome volunteer and we are always so pleased to invite him into our third grade world.

Coming Up Next Week:

Spelling:   I hope my students are completing their three assignments on
their spelling menus!!   They will be due on or before Friday.

Reading & Language Arts:  Continuing with our culture unit, we will continue
the research for our country of choice.  We will then start typing
our papers!

Keep reading daily and filling in the January Log!   It will be due on
or before February 1.

Social Science: We will finish chapter 3 in Social Studies this week.
It focuses on people moving to new places and various cultures.
There will be short, open book, open notes graded reviews after
each section/lesson in the chapter. This coming week, the students will
take a short graded review on Lesson 4 (open notes, open book.)
The test for Chapter 3 will be on Thursday.  A study guide will go
Home on Monday.

Mrs. Klacza's Math Class:  This week we continue our next unit (5) on
Multiplication, Division, and Area. Our first checkpoint quiz will be on
Friday. On Wednesday, students will take their X10 quiz.
