Weeks of 3/25 - 3/30 & 4/2 - 4/6

After school today we begin Spring Break!   Have a wonderful, relaxing
break and be safe!  The second week after Spring Break starts our
PARCC testing.  Chromebooks will need to be fully charged every night
and earphones should be brought to school daily!  A mouse is also an
excellent tool for PARCC tests. If your child does not have headphones
or a mouse, Spring Break week might be a good time to buy them!

Coming Up Next Week:

Reading & Language Arts:  We’ll continue reading The One and Only Ivan.
As we read, we’ll discuss and work in an Ivan packet as well.

Our test date for Unit 6 will be April 9. A study guide/pretest will

Week of 3/19/18 - 3/23/18

Happy St. Patrick’s Day!  "May the road rise up to meet you and the wind
be always at your back…" Enjoy your weekend! We are coming up to the
final week before Spring Break. We are visiting the Shedd Aquarium
on Thursday!!  Please make sure your child brings a totally disposable
lunch/brunch on that day. We’ll be eating super early, 10:00 a.m.,
(this is the only time we could get into the Shedd lunchroom) so
students don’t need a morning snack since we won’t have time to eat
it here at school.  We are so lucky to be able to see our beautiful city
and take in the Shedd for free!
