Week of 3/4/19 - 3/8/19

Happy March!!  This month is already proving to us the old saying:
"In like a lion...;" let's hope it goes out like a lamb!

We had a very productive week.  Students were busy finalizing their country reports. Culture Day presentations will begin on Monday.  If your child has
not talked to you about this, you may want to ask them about it.

Coming Up Next Week:

and will focus on prefixes and suffixes!  Students will receive a packet that
Needs to be completed by 3/15.

Reading & Language Arts:  The Culture Day presentations will start
on Monday, and continue through Monday, March 11.

Social Science: We will continue our Science curriculum, “Amplify.”  We
will also be starting up our Chicago unit very soon!!

Mrs. Klacza's Math Class:  This week we continue Unit 5, Multiplication,
Division, and Area.  We’ll focus on area (length X width.) The X12 table
test will be on Wednesday.  A practice sheet will come home Monday.
There will be a checkpoint Quiz on Wednesday.  It will cover division.
