Week of 3/11/19 - 3/15/19

Culture presentations have been wonderful so far!  I am learning so much
about our world. It’s great to see the students so excited to share
the country they connect with as a family!

We had our final Junior Achievement presentation on Tuesday. A big thank
you goes out to Mr. Dan Blocker for giving up his valuable time to educate
our third graders!

Don’t forget to “Spring Forward” this weekend! Hopefully we’ll be feeling
more Spring-like weather real soon!!

Coming Up Next Week:

Spelling: We’ll be taking a short break from spelling for the next 2 weeks
and will focus on prefixes and suffixes!  Students have received a packet that
needs to be completed by 3/15.

Reading & Language Arts:  The Culture Day presentations will continue through
Monday, March 11. We will then focus on a reading skill that is really
important, Main Idea & Details.

Social Science: We have concluded our Science curriculum, “Amplify.”  We
will be starting up our Chicago unit this week!!

Mrs. Klacza's Math Class:  This week we continue Unit 5, Multiplication,
Division, and Area.  We’ll focus on area (length X width.) Today,a study
guide (pretest) will be coming home so students may prepare for the

Unit 5 Post Assessment planned for 3/14.
