We have one more full week and then our shorter “final” week. It’s been just flying by, at least for me!!
Coming up the week:
Spelling: We are officially done with spelling!
English: The students have been working on a special persuasive writing project. They will be sharing them this week.
Reading: Each student has been assigned a reading group and a mystery novel. They’ve planned out the reading so that each day there is a portion of the book to read. They will meet in their groups daily to discuss and read.
Social Studies: We are basically done with social studies; however, there may be small activities that pop up.

Science: The students will each be creating a poster on an animal they would like to research. The poster will include the animal’s food chain and other interesting facts and pictures.
Mrs. Klacza's Math Class: We’ll begin our FINAL unit on on graphing and data (chapter 12.) We’ll specifically study picture graphs, bar graphs, and line graphs.
Important Dates:
5/28 - Box Tops Pizza Pary
6/9 - Bowling Field Trip (Lots of junk food eaten that day; have your child bring
