Week of 11/12/18 - 11/16/19

Tomorrow is Veterans’ Day and we had a wonderful assembly honoring
our own veterans (those who have a connection to our Panthers.)  There
weren’t a lot of adult dry eyes in the house! If you are a veteran, thank you!
Please ask your child about this wonderful assembly!
We have one more week to go in Trimester 1.  Please make sure you keep
an eye on your child’s grades.

Coming Up Next Week:

Spelling: Homework is due on or before 11/16. The test will also occur
on that day.

Reading & Language Arts:  We’ll talk about myths this week, particularly
Pandora’s Box.

We will also be using our "disguised turkeys" which are due on Monday
to write a persuasive paragraph convincing the farmer not to eat him
for Thanksgiving.

Please make sure your child is reading!   You should be filling in your
November log.

Social Science: We started our new Science curriculum, “Amplify,”
this week.  We learned about the floating train and force.
Mrs. Klacza's Math Class:  We will take a step back and start Unit 2
On Tuesday, Introduction to Multiplication.

Important Dates:
11/21-11/23 - Thanksgiving break
12/4 - Early Dismissal

Have a terrific weekend!
